Litigation Support Technician - Denver

Description: The LST is a client focused, service oriented position which concentrates on the legal applications used by litigators in the discovery process of electronically stored information (ESI) at Holland and Hart. The LST will work as an advocate for the various practice groups in the firm as their litigation support needs relate to technology. Responsible for managing, administering and supporting core legal applications for firm-wide case management solutions; assisting with computerized litigation support systems; implementing and maintaining computer applications and services.
Requirements: Successful candidate requires familiarity with a legal environment and the litigation process. Advanced knowledge of databases and imaging systems to include: document review applications (i.e.Ringtail, LAW, Concordance, etc.), image load file manipulation, image linking, and image production. Proficiency in the use of Access and Excel required. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve application problems, issues and errors and assist in the provision of end user training. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines. Four-year college degree or equivalent experience is required.

Legal Secretary/Floater - Boulder

Description: Provides advanced secretarial and administrative support services to designated attorneys as assigned by the Regional Office Administrator. Prepares documents, drafts routine legal documents and other correspondence; performs administrative duties such as processing mail, prepare various internal forms, copy, fax, messenger, check requests, expense reports, screening memos; make photocopies and scan documents; calendaring appointments, coordinate arrangements for meetings and assists with travel arrangements; screens calls, sets up conference calls as requested and enters timesheets. Keeps filing current, creates new files; maintains a current working knowledge of the firm's policies and procedures, as well as computer software programs required and used within the firm. Specialty duties and responsibilities will be determined by the specific practice areas; assists other secretaries, attorneys and staff as available, performs all other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
Requirements: Advanced legal secretarial skills including: accurate typing of 75 wpm; computer proficiency with advanced skills in Microsoft Word and other software programs; ability to use standard office equipment; excellent grammar, spelling and proofreading skills; and advanced knowledge of legal terminology. Prefer high school education with a minimum of 5 years of legal secretarial experience. Advanced knowledge of one or more specialty practice areas (i.e., litigation, business, patent, etc.) is a plus. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to work effectively under pressure to meet tight deadlines, and strong organizational skills to handle the work of two or more attorneys is required. Description: This position will provide telephone support on software, hardware and network related problems. A high level of customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written, is required.
Requirements: The candidate must have an advanced knowledge in Office 2003 applications, particularly with Word and Excel. They must also be very familiar with Windows XP and network topology, and must have experience troubleshooting hardware and software issues. Law firm experience helpful.
